What’s new

Sound comes to the board - pieces land with a wood knock, with separate switches for sound and vibration in Settings.

The board is redrawn: pieces cast a real shadow, the frame has weight, and your last move, check and hints are far easier to spot. Promoted pieces now carry traditional cinnabar.

Unsure whether to promote? The prompt shows what your piece becomes and what it gains or gives up.

Lessons flow: finish one, tap through to the next.
